Legal Fund: July 2008
OK, boys and girls, everyone take out a clean sheet of paper and a number two pencil. It’s time for simple arithmetic. In the latest financial statement presented to the Admiralty Board, STARFLEET spent another $330 on lawyers in July of 2008 for a total of $9,407 since the Lizard/Halverson team took office. This report was dated July 31, 2008.
Anyone have any ideas, at this rate, when STARFLEET will be completely insolvent? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller… Bueller… Bueller….
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to see the financials, perhaps, on the members area of SFI.ORG or from your Regional Coordinator? The last financials released on SFI.ORG were dated April 30, 2008 and the last fiancials in CQ 147 were dated March 30, 2008.

Usually I try my best to go with facts, not guesses — For example, if they spent another $330 in legal fees, that could be for a business license or something along those lines. It doesn’t necessarily have to have gone to the lawyer, it could have been on a different legal expense. I’d want a little more clarification before claiming that it went to an attorney.
