I have received a few emails that have suggested that maybe the reason Sal Lizard banned me from the “official” STARFLEET list (SFI-L) was maybe because of this very website. One person said “you don’t pull any punches.”

No, I don’t. It’s also not very nice. But it is not meant to be mean spirited. It is just in opposition to the Sal Pals. A little parody here and there, some criticism of these fascist policies, the secret committees, the hidden agendas. And, I hope, some hard questions for the administration and the members of STARFLEET.

Do I think that STARFLEET Fail is the reason I am catching this much flack from the administration? I really do not doubt it much. Does that essentially makes me a “political prisoner” of sorts?

I built this site for others to come and post, too. This is not designed to be a one man platform. This is not “DaveDorm West.” I have a perfectly good LiveJournal to post my angst and bile. I was asked by a couple folks to make the site more interactive so they could post too.

I had hoped for a Field of Dreams effect. “If you build it, they will come.” We shall see, the site has not been up long. Traffic is picking up, though. It may just take a litle time for folks to get into it.
