Evidence of Failure, Part I
This is the first in an evidentiary series in order to fairly document issues with the STARFLEET Executive Committee.
December 5th, 2007:
“Then give me a month until after this transition period is over. Give me a chance to read back through the MSRs when I get access to the database, give me time to poll some chapters and ask them to provide statements about their experiences with membership Processing over the past six months or so. I’ll then provide you with demonstrable evidence of what I’ve been hearing and we can put this puppy to bed, once and for all.”
This was from Sal Lizard, on his LiveJournal. When they put the call out to get feedback on membership processing, I took the time to write up a report. I sent it to the CS-elect and my Regional Coordinator on December 8th, 2007 on behalf of the USS Blackheart. Sal’s self-defined timeframe for producing evidence lapsed over six months ago.
I don’t know how much response they got or what the responses said. I did receive a note from my then-RC Joe Hoolihan, thanking me for taking the time to research and write the report.

A modest proposal:
Treat the current administration as you might the senior executives of an oil company. Simply make it too costly for them to continue on in the way that they do.

I think the administration is doing that in reverse, bleeding the funds dry so we can’t do anything.

I posted a question for Sal on his LJ back in January… I’m still waiting for a response.
